Response to Intervention (RTI) which is a multi-tier approach to the early identification of students struggling academically and support through intervention to accelerate their rate of learning.
These services are being provided by a variety of educational personnel. Progress of the students is closely monitored to assess both the learning rate and level of performance of individual student.
The RTI process begins with universal screening of all children in the general education classroom and provides quality instruction for all children learning. The main goal is to enhance the ability in reading and computation in mathematics of children which is the foundation for learning of all subjects.
